Friends of the Old Farm Collie, Bulletin #3 "Victorian" collie type

"Victorian" Collies

These dogs were turn-of-the-century and earlier kennel-club registered Collies, the foundation from which the present-day show Collie was developed. Dogs of this type came to be considered very "old-fashioned" by the 1920s, but some continued on as farm and family dogs until the 1950s and '60s.
